J. Nealin Parker, a former elections consultant in Liberia, has traveled in more than forty countries in America, Europe, Africa, and South East Asia. A graduate of Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs, she worked on the Obama Campaign in her home state of Virginia and served as Chief of Staff at the Center on International Cooperation in New York. She is currently Deputy Director of the Office of Transition Initiatives at USAID. Nealin's travel writing and photographs have previously appeared in the Lexington News Gazette.
