Alexander Bick

Alexander Bick is a founding editor of The Crumpled Press.
He received a BA in political science from the University of Chicago and an MSc in economic history from the London School of Economics. He is currently pursuing a PhD in history at Princeton University, where his research interests include mercantilism, empire, and the politics of print.

Alex has worked as a public school reform advocate and raffle ticket salesman in Chicago, a researcher in the British Parliament, and as advisor to former U.S. President Jimmy Carter on peace initiatives in Sudan, Sierra Leone, and Liberia. He has written for the Economist Intelligence Unit and helps to edit the online journal The Princeton Report on Knowledge.
