Aaron Tugendhaft

For the past 12 years Aaron Tugendhaft has traveled between New York, Chicago, Paris, and Jerusalem, studying art history, philosophy, and the history of religions. He holds an MA from the University of Chicago's Committee on Social Thought and is currently working on a PhD in Hebrew Bible at New York University. Aaron has worked as a dramaturge in fringe-theater and is the curator of the exhibition Idol Anxiety, which opened at the Smart Museum in April 2008. He teaches ancient Greek and biblical thought at NYU's Gallatin School of Individualized Study and attends the opera regularly.
